Terms of Use

TerpWise is licensed to you under Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement. The terms below add to that agreement. Where the two differ, these terms apply to TerpWise.
Who can use TerpWise
You must be 21 or older, and you are responsible for following the laws where you live. TerpWise is a personal journal. It does not sell, supply or arrange cannabis, and nothing in it encourages you to use cannabis where it is not legal.
Not medical advice
TerpWise helps you record what you use and notice patterns in your own entries. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat or prevent any condition. Figures such as estimated doses and terpene profiles are approximations based on the product details you enter or scan, and may be wrong. Descriptions of terpenes summarise published research and are not claims about what any product will do for you. Talk to a qualified health professional before relying on anything in the app for a health decision.
Your content
What you record in TerpWise belongs to you and stays on your devices, as described in the Privacy Policy. You are responsible for keeping a backup. The in-app iCloud backup and file export are there for that.
TerpWise+
- Free trial. New users can start a 45-day free trial of TerpWise+ inside the app. It needs no payment details, charges nothing, and ends on its own, after which the app returns to the free plan.
- Monthly and yearly plans are auto-renewing subscriptions bought through the App Store. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase. A subscription renews automatically at the same price for the same period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Cancelling. Manage or cancel your subscription in your iPhone's Settings › [your name] › Subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep TerpWise+ until the end of the period you have paid for.
- Lifetime is a one-time purchase that unlocks TerpWise+ with no renewal.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under its own policies.
Information from other sources
Strain descriptions and lab results may come from public websites and lab reports. TerpWise shows them as found and does not guarantee they are accurate or complete.
Changes
We may update these terms. If we do, we will change the date at the top of this page, and significant changes will be described in the app. Continuing to use TerpWise after a change means you accept the updated terms.
